There is still no universally accepted definition in the Personal Care market as to what qualifies as “natural.” ABITEC manufactures lipids and esters, as one of a handful of producers of vegetable-oil derivatives, we can really offer functional emulsifiers or surfactant ingredients that are from naturally-sourced ingredients. We offer Kosher certification on many of our products. Our esterification chemistries typically use heat rather than enzyme catalysts in the manufacturing process. In addition, for Personal Care products we conduct our tests in vitro, not on living animals.
