Water-based metalworking fluids are better at cooling the tool-workpiece interface and at flushing away chips in the case of metal cutting operations. However, water presents complications and it can be very tricky to formulate an effective, long-lasting fluid that can be disposed of properly when it has reached the end of its useful life. ACCONON® Nonionic Surfactants & Emulsifiers

ABITEC Corporation has more than 50 years experience manufacturing nonionic surfactants at our plant in Janesville, WI. In addition to functioning as excellent water/oil emulsifiers, many of these products can add lubricity to a wide variety of water-extendable metalworking fluids. Our line includes coconut and castor oil ethoxylates and PEG esters.
