ABITEC and Curapath sign strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance next-generation LNP delivery technologies

ABITEC Corporation and Curapath have signed a strategic MOU expanding access to high-purity custom lipids, PEG-free shielding technologies, and advanced lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation solutions.

The collaboration brings together ABITEC’s lipid chemistry and manufacturing expertise with Curapath’s PEG-free shielding polymer technologies and cGMP manufacturing capabilities, enabling developers to design more flexible, fit-for-purpose LNP delivery systems.

While PEG-lipids remain important in many LNP systems, repeat-dosing applications may benefit from alternative shielding approaches. Through this MOU, ABITEC and Curapath aim to give customers broader formulation options for vaccines, cell therapies, genetic medicines, and other advanced therapeutics.
